[:es]En un futuro próximo (1 de septiembre al 30 de noviembre de 2016), el control del estado rector del puerto (port state control – PSC) va a realizar dos importantes campañas selectivas de inspección (Concentrated Inspection campaigns – CIC) en varias partes del mundo. París MoU realizará una CIC sobre MLC 2006 mientras que muchas de las otras MOUs llevarán a cabo una CIC sobre dispositivos de sujeción de la carga.
Paris MOU PSC – MLC 2006
El MOU de París indica que realizará una CIC sobre el MLC 2006.
El objetivo de la CIC es verificar que los estándares mínimos para las condiciones de trabajo y de vida han sido implementados a bordo. Los Oficiales del Control del Estado del Puerto (PSCOs) utilizarán una lista con 12 preguntas seleccionadas para asegurarse de que los certificados requeridos y la documentación estén disponibles, en particular aquellos relacionados con los marineros a bordo. Además se incluirán preguntas para verificar los registros de las inspecciones de alojamiento, comida y catering y si se ha establecido un comité de seguridad.
La campaña de inspección se llevará a cabo durante un período de tres meses, comenzando el 1 de septiembre de 2016 y finalizando el 30 de noviembre de 2016.
El UK P&I Club y Lloyd´s se han asociado para colaborar en varias publicaciones relacionadas con el MLC. Otras PSC MOU`s – Dispositivos de Sujeción de la Carga
Los estados Miembros de PSC MOU de Tokio, Océano Índico y el Mar Negro promoverán una CIC sobre los dispositivos de sujeción de la carga.
El objetivo de la CIC es verificar que se cumplen los procedimientos y medidas que están en vigor para los dispositivos de sujeción de la carga a bordo de los buques y que cumplen con los requisitos aplicables de SOLAS y las directrices relacionadas.
Con el propósito de armonizar interregionalmente la acción, la MOU del Mar Negro utilizará el modelo del Cuestionario desarrollado por la MOU de Tokio con una lista de comprobación incluyendo 10 preguntas seleccionadas relativas a los dispositivos de sujeción de la carga para establecer que los miembros de la tripulación con responsabilidades relacionadas con sujeción de la carga están familiarizados con los equipos y documentos pertinentes, y entienden e identifican los peligros asociados con las operaciones de sujeción de la carga.
Esta campaña de inspección se llevará a cabo durante un período de tres meses, comenzando el 1 de septiembre de 2016 y finalizando el 30 de noviembre de 2016.

[:en]In the near future (01 Sep to 30 Nov 2016), there are two big port state control (PSC) Concentrated inspection campaigns (CIC) that are going to be run in various parts of the world. Paris MOU is carrying out a CIC on MLC 2006 whereas many of the other MOUs will be carrying out a CIC on Cargo securing arrangements.
Paris MOU PSC – MLC 2006
Paris MOU states will be launching a CIC on the MLC 2006.
The aim of the CIC is to verify that the minimum standards for working and living conditions have been implemented on board. Port State Control Officers (PSCOs) will use a list of 12 selected questions to ensure that the required certificates and documentation are present, in particular, those related to the seafarers on board. Additionally there are questions aimed at verification of records of the inspections of the accommodation, food and catering, and whether a safety committee has been established.
This inspection campaign will be held for a period of three months, commencing from 1 September 2016 and ending 30 November 2016.
The UK P&I Club has partnered with Lloyd’s Register on various publications related to the MLC. These include the International Shipping Federation’s (ISF) guide publication “Guidelines on the Application of the ILO Maritime Labour Conventions (2nd edition)” and the Lloyds Register/UK Club “ILO MLC pocket checklist”.

Other PSC MOU’s – Cargo Securing Arrangements
The Member states of Tokyo, Indian Ocean and the Black Sea PSC MOU will be launching a CIC on the Cargo securing arrangements.
The aim of the CIC is to verify that there is compliance with the procedures and measures that are in place on cargo securing arrangements on board ships meeting applicable requirements of the SOLAS and related guidelines.
For the purpose of interregional harmonization of the action, the BS MOU will use the model of the relevant Questionnaire developed by the Tokyo MOU with a checklist of 10 selected questions for cargo securing arrangements to establish that crew members with cargo securing duties are familiar with relevant equipment and documents and identify and understand the hazards associated with cargo securing operations.
This inspection campaign will be held for a period of three months, commencing from 1 September 2016 and ending 30 November 2016.
