[:es]Recientemente la Asociación ha sido informada que la Administración de Alimentos y Fármacos de Estados Unidos (U.S. Food and Drug Administration – FDA) ha anunciado que la ley sobre el Transporte Sanitario de Carne Humana y Animal es definitiva.
Las fechas de cumplimiento más adelantadas para algunas empresas comienzan un año después de la publicación de la regla definitiva en el Registro Federal.

La Asociación recomienda que los Miembros comprueben periódicamente la web de la FDA para obtener información y beneficiarse de la Red de Asistencia Técnica de Seguridad Alimentaria (Food Safety Technical Assistance Network) que proporciona información y asistencia durante la implementación de la FSMA. Las preguntas que se presenten serán respondidas por expertos de la industria. También se desarrollarán cursos online para ayudar en la formación de trabajadores durante la implementación. A lo largo del próximo año el UK Club publicará actualizaciones periódicas para mantener a los miembros informados de las últimas novedades.

[:en]The Association has been recently advised that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have announced that the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) rule on Sanitary Transportation of Human and Animal Food is now final.
The earliest compliance dates for some firms begin one year after publication of the final rule in the Federal Register.

The Association recommends that Members check the FDA website periodically to obtain information and to take advantage of the Food Safety Technical Assistance Network which provides information and support during the implementation of the FSMA. Questions submitted will be answered by industry experts. Online courses will also be developed to assist in training workers during the implementation. The UK Club will issue periodic updates to keep members informed of the latest developments over the next year.
